Cheese On Wheels/Cheese of Wisconsin was founded in 1989 by my parents, Newil and Lois Forbush. In 2003 my mother passed away. It was at that time that my brother Scott left college and his dream of becoming a music teacher to take over the daily operations at COW.  

While on one of his delivery routes, Scott had an accident on October 22, 2009. It is with much sadness that I must tell you that Scott passed away. Scott was one of a kind... he was one of the "good guys". He will be greatly missed. His goodness and spirit will live on in all the lives he touched.

On behalf of my father Newil, my brother Kyle, and my brother Randy, that I would like to thank everyone for all of their thoughts, prayers and support while we are dealing with the loss of our brother and son. 

Through a very difficult decision, we have decided not to continue operations at COW. We would like to thank you for all of your years of patronage. 

Dennis Wenger of North Country Cheese will now be providing the same great service and selling the same excellent Wisconsin Cheese (and more!) to our valued customers. We are happy that Dennis has jumped in with both feet to continue serving all of you. North Country Cheese has been selling similar products and providing similar services for years. They are very excited at this opportunity to expand their products and customer base. Dennis is great and I am sure you will be very happy with your future transactions with North Country Cheese.
